It was just a proper fit for a fleeting stay in Kotu with good price-quality ratio. I appreciated the friendly staff that helped me with everything I needed. Carry a personal safety box if you require extra security for your valuables.

The hotel exudes charm with its lush gardens, perfect for relaxation. Gazing out from the patio while sipping coffee, I often watched monkeys play nearby, which added a fun touch to my mornings. The room felt clean and welcoming, with renovated decor. the bathroom left much to be desired. the shower curtain clung to my body during showers, leaving the entire area soaked. Breakfast was another point of concern. it consisted mainly of eggs with limited options for those who don’t eat them. extra charges for a safety deposit box were surprising. these should be complimentary. the staff always greeted me with warmth, and their genuine hospitality was delightful. My stay was enjoyable, but some tweaks could enhance the experience further.

Birdwatcher's paradise with friendly staff
The Bakotu Hotel offers a beautifully maintained garden and a lovely swimming pool, perfect for relaxation. The staff is exceptionally friendly, making guests feel at home. Each morning, sipping coffee while watching monkeys play nearby added magic to our stay.
The room lacked some essentials, like a fridge and reliable Wi-Fi. The breakfast options were minimal, and service during our stay felt slightly disorganized, impacting our morning routine.

The hotel's location is extraordinary, with stunning views of the mangroves and opportunities for birdwatching. It is peaceful and offers beautiful garden walks, making it ideal for nature enthusiasts. The staff is incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist me during my stay.
The accessibility features could use improvement, particularly in the bathrooms.

We enjoyed the peaceful garden and the delightful pool area during our family stay. The location made it easy to explore nearby attractions, and we especially appreciated the weekly opportunity to dine at Captain's Table, a treat for the whole family.
In my wife’s opinion, the food options should be more varied for families.

I really loved the beautiful garden and had a fantastic time unwinding by the lovely swimming pool. The outdoor area offered great relaxation with comfy loungers and a peaceful vibe, perfect for soaking up some sun. One small thing is that the breakfast could use a bit more variety, but it didn’t put a damper on my experience! 🌞

Recommend it for couples seeking nature and relaxation
One afternoon, we spotted monkeys playing just outside our balcony while we sipped drinks and enjoyed the view. Another memorable moment was when we took a trip to the nearby birdwatching platform. the tranquility and the colorful birds were simply breathtaking.
It wasn't cheap, but given the ambiance and experience, it was still acceptable.
